Medical professionals and students are expected to aid others, but who will aid them? Here are a few support groups who aim to support and uplift medical professionals and students to better fit themselves for the journey ahead.

Philippine Society
of Public Health Physicians

The PSPHP is a professional organization that unites physicians and public health advocates dedicated to improving healthcare systems and community well-being in the Philippines. As an affiliate of the Philippine Medical Association, it provides a platform for collaboration, education, and policy development in public health through summits, training, and advocacy initiatives.

Physicians for Peace

Physicians for Peace Philippines (PFPP) aims to teach and train healthcare professionals to provide sustainable healthcare services. They are an internationally recognized non-governmental organization and focus on strengthening healthcare systems.

Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA)

AMSA - Philippines is a national organization that empowers medical students through seminars, outreach, and leadership training.

The Iris Diaries centers around Filipino medical students exploring their future in medicine. Through illustrated, research-based stories, we celebrate the many doctors who choose to stay and serve their home country, the Philippines, showing how local practice can be purposeful, impactful, and deeply fulfilling.
