Is it still worth it to be a Doctor in the Philippines as of 2025?

I used to dream of residency abroad. it felt like the only way to “make it.” but after my rural rotation, I met a doctor who’s been serving the same barangay for 20 years. and the way the patients lit up when he walked in? that stayed with me.
